How to Organise a Move to a New Flat

Moving to a new flat can feel stressful, but a good plan makes it easier. First, make a checklist of everything you need to do: give notice to your current landlord, book a moving truck, and arrange utilities like electricity and internet. Pack room by room, labeling each box with its contents and the room it belongs to. This will save time when you unpack. A few days before the move, clean the old flat so you get your deposit back. On moving day, keep important documents and valuables with you, not in the truck. After you arrive, set up the most essential things first – a bed, a kitchen table, and a charger for your phone. Finally, take a short walk around the neighbourhood to learn where the nearest shop and bus stop are.
