When the Internet Stops Working on Our Street
Anna: Hey, did you notice the Wi‑Fi disappeared on Main Street? Liam: Yeah, I think the whole internet went down. My video call kept freezing. Anna: I walked past the coffee shop. Everyone was looking at their phones, but nothing loaded. Liam: Even the traffic lights seemed slower, like they were waiting for a signal. Anna: The shop owner started talking to customers face‑to‑face again. It felt weird. Liam: I used a paper map to find the library. It was like 2010! Anna: Some people laughed, others looked annoyed. I guess we all rely on the internet a lot. Liam: True. It reminded me how simple life can be when we unplug.
