When the Internet Stops Working on Our Street
A: Hey, did you notice the Wi‑Fi disappeared this morning? B: Yeah, the whole street went offline. No one could stream music or check messages. A: I saw a few people stepping outside, looking at the sky like they were waiting for a signal. B: Some kids stopped playing online games and started a real soccer match in the park. A: The coffee shop had to close the tablets, so we talked face‑to‑face instead of texting. B: Even the traffic lights seemed slower, like the city was breathing a little. A: I think the power company will fix it soon, but until then, it's weird to feel the quiet without constant notifications. B: True. Maybe it's a chance to read a book or just enjoy the street sounds.
